A blog? What do I need with a blog...well I use e-mail and I'm on Facebook, so it seems that this is the next step in communicating with family and friends.
Currently I'm in a sermon series on the Ten Commandments and this Sunday we will be looking at the third commandment: You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God. Of course we immediately think about not using God's name in foul language...which of course is one application. The larger application is to not misuse God's name to intimidate and impress or to use it in empty or selfish ways. It's amazing what is done in God's name.
